The moment we focus we become quiet and refine the calm and beauty of stillness even within movement. During my last Balance workshop I was inspired and elated by the energy generated in the room. Balancing requires focus and attention to the energy within us. Focus naturally results in control, beauty and ease of movement within each breath. Focus is the essence, and is acquired by simply paying attention to the moment and letting go of what is not necessary.
In this workshop we will allow focus and total attention to deepen our understanding of the eight Vital Principles inspired by Dona Holleman. We will practice varied Asana (postures), Pranayama (the Art of Breathing), and the Meditative state in which the principles unite.
Suitable for anyone with a basic regular Yoga practice. The workshop will be relaxing, fun and lead towards deeper understanding of a personal practice.
