For those who want to have a go at the 'fun' poses such as back bends, arm balances, bakasanas, deep relaxation and pranayama (the art of breathing) in a light-hearted and supportive way.
Understanding of the Vital Principles of Practice brings us closer to our natural state. Our body's own intelligence then leads us away from forceful movement and connects with a more subtle energy (Prana) that enables us to move into the more 'advanced' postures with ease. Yoga is a most sensitive discipline, giving us the seed to learn more about how our body/mind actually works. It is a fascinating and intimate self study.
The course will be structured, beginning or ending (depending on the level of practice) with breath awareness and Pranayama techniques.
